Tamarind is recognized by its pod-like fruit and for possessing a high nutrient and vitamin content. Recently, tamarind seed extract (TSE) has shown to be effective at reducing inflammation in the body in addition to its anti-bacterial and antioxidant properties. Turmeric is another plant known for its numerous health benefits due to the presence of phytochemicals called curcuminoids.
