Hosted by the Natural Products Association, this year’s two-day virtual event consisted of educational sessions, workshop programming, case studies, and interactive discussions.
Founder and CEO of Lief Labs, Adel Villalobos, spoke on the topic “Using Technology as a CMO to Improve Supply Chain,” touching on areas such as the development of e-commerce in the nutrition industry and the impacts of COVID-19 on manufacturers.
“As a CMO, we can’t just be making tablets, capsules, powders, liquids soft gels, and gummies. We need to provide more services to these groups, because it is these groups that disrupt our supply chain and also disrupt the regulatory environment of our industry.”
