The supply chain faces constant struggles amid the growing demand for supplies and raw materials as ongoing disruptions resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic remain and other hurdles, such as freight issues and driver shortages. Jeo Montoya, Lief’s Director of Supply Chain Management, shares his thoughts and advice in an article for Nutrition Industry Executive. Jeo explains the importance of being adaptable and implementing internal procedures, including in-house transportation systems (TMS) to help combat freight and transportation issues and forecasting tools to manage inventory.
